The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) is excited to welcome Erin Pohl as the new Assistant Executive Director for the Saint Louis Bar Foundation, strengthening our legal community.

ST. LOUIS – The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) is pleased to announce that Erin Pohl has joined the organization as assistant executive director for the Saint Louis Bar Foundation. Pohl brings extensive experience in nonprofit development, fundraising strategy and organizational leadership, having served with organizations including the Crime Victim Center, LASE Specialized Education and MERS/Goodwill.
The Saint Louis Bar Foundation is a nonprofit organization affiliated with BAMSL that advances the administration of justice through law-related education, charitable initiatives and support for the legal profession and community.
“Erin brings a strong background in nonprofit development, fundraising and management, along with extensive experience serving the St. Louis nonprofit community,” said Susan McCourt Baltz, executive director of BAMSL. “We are happy to welcome her to our team and look forward to the leadership she will provide in advancing the Bar Foundation’s mission.”
In her role, Pohl will oversee the Saint Louis Bar Foundation’s pro bono programs, community service initiatives and law-related education efforts, while helping advance the Foundation’s fundraising, outreach and strategic initiatives.
“I am excited to be joining BAMSL and the Saint Louis Bar Foundation,” said Pohl. “I look forward to working with the legal community to strengthen the Foundation’s programs, expand its impact and help advance access to justice and service throughout our community.”
Pohl, of St. Louis, Mo., earned her bachelor’s degree in workforce education and development from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She also serves as the board president of the St. Louis Anti-Violence Project.
