Herbert Hoover Club Director Reggie Jones to Celebrate 30 Years of Changing Young Lives

ST. LOUIS (July 15, 2026) — Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis (BGCSTL) will recognize the leaders, staff, and advocates transforming the region’s youth during its annual Spotlight on Service Recognition Ceremony.

The event takes place on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward Jones Headquarters (12555 Manchester Road, Des Peres, MO 63131).

The evening honors dedicated staff reaching milestone service anniversaries starting at five years, alongside the volunteers, board members, and alumni who build thriving futures for thousands of kids across the bi-state area.

Event Highlights

  • 30 Years of Transformational Leadership: The night marks a major milestone for Reggie Jones, director of the Herbert Hoover Club. Over three decades, Jones has guided generations of young people through direct mentorship, creating the safe, high-expectations environment members need to excel in the classroom and in life.
  • Staff Milestone Awards: Dedicated team members reaching career milestones in five-year increments will be recognized for their sustained commitment to the mission.
  • Alumni Hall of Honor Inductions: BGCSTL will induct exceptional alumni whose career achievements and civic leadership reflect the core values built during their time in the Club.

“As a former Club member, it is especially meaningful to recognize the dedication of our staff, Board members, volunteers and alumni,” said Brandon Williams, President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis. “Their commitment has transformed countless lives.
