St. Louis’ Crime Chime – Weekly Whirlwind of Woes: “No Cash, No Escape: East St. Louis Duo Jahvaris Reese and Ieasha White Nabbed by Monroe Sheriffs and Locked Up Facing Heavy Felony Robbery Warrants!

Monday morning at Greenmount Crossing Drive,
Ten twenty-three, two arrived to survive.
Commerce Bank in the block of four-thousand,
Two East St. Louis residents stepped on the housing.
Jahvaris L. Reese, thirty-nine in his age,
And Ieasha L. White, thirty-one on the page.
Faces covered up tight, stepping through the glass door,
Handed over a note, demanding money and more.
But the staff held their ground, refused to comply,
Turned the threat right around under Shiloh’s clear sky.
Left with no single bill, empty-handed they fled,
Direction unknown while the rumors all spread.
Shiloh PD stepped up, pulled the clues from the scene,
Tracked the neighborhood streets where the suspects had been—
Block of Forty-Fourth Street, thirteen hundred the line,
Cornered both of the names in a short period of time.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Department took the lead,
Arrested both on Tuesday with efficiency and speed.
No incidents reported as the handcuffs clicked tight,
Handed off to St. Clair for the legal fight.
State’s Attorney reviewed all the facts of the case,
By Thursday afternoon, felony charges in place:
Attempted robbery charged, financial institution as well,
Warrants signed by a judge with a story to tell.
Prosecutors request that they stay behind bars,
No release on the streets, no speeding off in cars.
Shiloh Police Department gives the proper respect,
To Monroe, to O’Fallon, and the team that checked.
A joint effort completed, justice taking its course,
When the counties connect with a unified force.
